its friday, but monday's coming...repost

This post is for Liz over at Letting me be... enjoy.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's Friday, and all my worries and concerns about work are fading away. Machines are set, scripts will run, nobody will call me with problems, and the Alarm clock will not wail at 5:50am.

But Monday's coming.

Right now, though, it's Friday! And the world outside is cool and crisp! The sun will be out this weekend and the fall colors will be almost blinding in their brilliance! We will shop for provisions, we will play with the children, we will relax in the afternoon. We will pick up and give the house a good cleaning and prepare the garage for winter.

But Monday's coming.

But I can't help the good feeling I get when I know that Friday is here! I'll leave in a few minutes, listen to music loud on the way home, sing, waggle my head, and laugh at the other drivers who think I've lost my marbles. I'll pull slowly into my little driveway, and my son will likely run to the car and try to extract me from the vehicle as if I've been trapped in it for hours!

But Monday's coming, and I could wait ages for that.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But this weekend it'll probably snow! HA!!

Thanks Liz for being so encouraging.

Comments:
Hey there,
You migtht think that I would come back and like it less, but you would be wrong. It's still wonderful. I hope now that you've had time away from it, you see how wonderfully it reads and how positive it is.

thank you for giving me this memory twice.
It's a special one indeed.
Liz

Tim,
I came over last Friday and left a comment. Then I came back to look and thought perhaps it was still in moderation . . . hmmmm i remember what I said, And I got the chance to read this again.

If you're wondering whether I'm disappointed now that I read this again, I'm most certainly not. In fact, I think that now this the third time I read it, I love it even more. Can you hear now how beautifully optimistic, loving, and hope-filled it is. It's filled with with the thoughts of a guy who knows what it's like to be human, alive, and have his priorities in the right place. A guy who can put words together and move a complete stranger on a Friday night almost two months ago.
Liz

ME,

You're welcome. It does read pretty well, now that I look at it again, doesn't it. It's surprisingly positive isnt' it?

Also, sorry I just got these comments. I had them set to "moderate" by accident, and no email for it to send the comments to so that they could be moderated! I am such a goof...sorry if I caused any emotional angst!

No emotional angst cause.
Just wanted you to know you had not posted this then been ignored.
